The Kent Event Centre is a conference venue in Maidstone and is set within 200 acres of verdant countryside. The showground is home to a variety of public events, but the facilities within the Event Centre, which opened in June 2011 are ideal for corporate events. At the Kent Event Centre, we pride ourselves on providing a flexible approach to event planning with a variety of spaces to suit your needs. All our rooms are designed with full flexibility in mind whilst still offering a few organiser essentials. Each space is a blank canvas ready to be tailored to your event.
With the ability to cater for 2 to 2000 delegates, the venue is perfect for a variety of events including;
There are five meeting rooms to choose from and the corporate sales team are happy to advice you on the best room to suit your required layout and delegate numbers. The Detling and Stockbury room are situated on the first floor in the Alan Day House, whilst the Chilham and Bredhurst room are situated on the first floor in the Clive Emson building with full disabled facilities. These rooms are perfect for 2 to 50 delegates. The Astor is a larger room accommodating up to 200 people theatre style and 90 cabaret style. Whilst some of the rooms are fitted with modern AV equipment we are able to provide AV equipment wherever required.
There is a vast amount of car parking space directly outside the buildings. The new Clive Emson exhibition hall measures 48 x 36 metres and is fully carpeted. For the majority of the year, the space also comes fully lined. The ladies, gents and disabled toilets and the kitchen facility make this the ideal venue for large conferences, product launches etc. In addition the Kent Pavilion and John Hendry pavilion offer 72 x 40 metres and 74 x 24 metres of space respectfully.
